St Paul’s was instrumental in the founding of the Center for Lay Ministries (CLM) in Jeffersonville. We continue to offer active support to the Center through a monthly offering of non-perishable food; through people from the congregation volunteering at the Center, and through donations to the work of CLM.
We are active in the Downtown Churches of Jeffersonville. Our congregations work and worship together throughout the year and support one another’s ministries and programs.
A portion of our time and talents support work outside of St Paul’s. We work with CLM throughout the year including at Thanksgiving and Christmas as they supply food throughout Clark County. Through St Paul's Outside the Walls we address a number of needs in a variety of x=community organizations and venues.
Our facilities are used by community groups such as the weekly Monday evening Narcotic Anonymous group, the Saturday morning meeting of an AA group, and occasional meetings by the Health Department, Habitat for Humanity, and the Clark County Museum. .
We celebrate a variety of blessing and share prayer concerns worship. Some make voluntary contributions to the United Thank Offering. We also participate in an annual collection for the diocesan Episcopal Fund for Human Need.
For 5 years St Paul's has sponsored an annual series of benefit concerts for local not for profit community service organizations under the title St Paul's Presents. These concerts are free and open to the community and each concert includes the opportunity for those attending to make a donation for the community service organization for whose benefit the concert was organized.
