Coffee Hour Ministry is returning:

On September 15th, when Fr. Cory Michael will be here,Jackie Lankert will be arranging our re-awakening of the Coffee Hour ministry before the service. It will be at 9:30 am. 

 

 

 

 

**A reminder for your calendars**

 

Fr. Allan Wallace will to be here the 1st Sunday of each month for the Holy Eucharist at 5:00 p.m.

 

Fr. Cory Michael Irwin will be here the 3rd Sunday of each month for the Holy Eucharist at 10:15 a.m.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prayer Request: Please add Angela’s mother Gayle to your prayers. She has been dealing with some formidable health issues. God’s healing grace to Gayle, Angela and family.

 

Announcement: Kara Brown, Executive Director of the Center for Lay Ministries, informs us that in 2021, The CLM Food Pantry served an average of 35 families a day. In 2024 that number has doubled to 73 families daily. High food prices are especially devasting for those already suffering from food insecurity. Please continue to support the 

CLM Food Pantry with donations to the red wagon located in the side

entrance. The top requested food is cereal!

The Center for Lay Ministries:

A Giving Opportunity!  St. Paul’s supports the Center for Lay Ministries’ Food Pantry serving the food insecure in Clark County.  Look for the Little Red Wagon in the Parish Hall lobby to leave your food contributions.  

The Top 10 requested foods are: Cereal, Peanut Butter, Soup, Canned Fruit, Beans, Rice, Tuna, Fruit Juice, Pasta, and Canned Vegetables.

 

Other Giving Opportunities:

1. UTO United Thank Offering funds worldwiderelief projects.

2. The Clark County Youth Shelter is a haven for at-risk children. 

We make their holidays brighter with gift baskets.

 

Project Water Step:

Everyone has a pair of old, worn-out, never-wear-again shoes.  Project Waterstep is a program that recycles shoes and uses the money to fund clean water projects in developing countries. 

The Water Step donation box is in the Parish Hall lobby.
